What Do the Lonely Do at Christmas

What do the Lonely do at Christmas, time? Well for starters, no one is lonely at any holiday unless you are a Loner on purpose or been abandoned. Stop being depressed, stop crying and find joy & love everyday, including the holidays.

No one should be lonely if you have a FAMILY (immediate family, extended family, close circle of friends, sorors, fraternity brothers, etc)!

Family: A social unit where the father is concerned with parking spaces, the children with outer space, and the mother with closet space.

A family is a unit composed not only of childern, but of men, women, an occasional animal, and the common cold.

TheFamily: We were a strange little band of characters trudging through life sharing diseases and toothpaste, coveting one another's desserts, hiding shampoo, borrowing money, locking each other out of our rooms, inflicting pain and kissing to heal it in the smae instant, loving, laughing, defending, and trying to figure out the common thread that bound us all together.

When you look at life, the greatesdt happinesses are family happinesses.

You don't choose your family. They are God's gift to you, as you are to them.

Family means putting your arms around each other and being there.

Call it a clan, call it a network, call it a tribe, call it a family. Whatever you call it, whoever you are, you need one.

Next time you're feeling lonely and are about to throw a pity party at any time of the year, remember your Family... get in the car and drive, pick up the phone and call, pick up a pen and write, log on to the computer and type. They are closer than you think. Search within your heart, as long as you love them, they are there!

Merry Christmas, Happy Kwanzaa, Happy New Year!
